
Alex Hyder is a trial attorney with the law firm of Fodera & Long, P.C. Mr. Hyder is an experienced civil litigator who focuses his practice on representing victims in all matters of personal injury. His specialties include motor vehicle accidents, trucking/tractor-trailer accidents, fall downs, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. Mr. Hyder joined the firm after practicing at one of the largest volume personal injury firms in the country.
A native of the Philadelphia area, Mr. Hyder attended Penn State University, where he was a member of the National Political Science Honors Society. He then attended the Duquesne University School of Law, where he the recipient of numerous awards and accolades. During law school, Mr. Hyder served on the executive board for the Duquesne Business Law Journal and was a member of the school’s Trial Moot Court team. Mr. Hyder focused much of his scholarly research in the area of class action litigation and had his works published in a national peer-reviewed business journal.
Mr. Hyder is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also licensed to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, as well as the District of New Jersey. He is currently a member many legal organizations, including the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. Mr. Hyder has been recognized as a TOP 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers Association, a distinction reserved for the premier trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional qualifications as civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense trial lawyers.
